An evening with RMC learning about the latest marine tips and tricks
R Marine Crawley invite you to a wonderful evening on Southport Yacht Club’s renowned Waterscape Pontoon Bar held on Thursday 25 May at 5 pm. Enjoy a free evening with drinks and canapes as industry experts share with you marine tips and tricks to get you prepared for this boating season.
“This is always a great evening, and in fact one of RMC’s most popular events because the owners get so much out of it. It’s great that we can bring together people who share the same passion and then just watch the magic happen as they get to know each other and become lifelong boating family friends.” said Ben Crawley, Dealer Principal.
The evening will be filled with tips and tricks to assist and guide you on your next boating journey.
Southport Yacht Club’s Head Chef will host a Galley Wise cooking segment teaching you delicious, easy to make recipes in the comfort of your galley – recipes essential for enjoyable and hassle free boating getaways.
“If you’re set for a long voyage, one of the challenges is actually planning creative and delicious meals to keep those on board happy – this segment is always a hit and everyone gets to taste the creations.” said Greg Stroud, R Marine Crawley’s Client Relations Manager.
As many plan on making the voyage to the Whitsundays later in the year, Greg who is also a Master Class 4 Captain, will host a segment on passage planning, covering important content such as:
Marine safety – ensuring your vessel is equipped with correct safety gear
Anchoring correctly – ensuring no anchors drag or fall overboard
Fuel and storage – ensuring you plan your fuel consumption and store it correctly
Food – provisioning, what to store and how to store it, making sure the family is well fed during the journey
Radar operation – answering all your questions to ease your mind during day and night navigation.
To keep you informed of the latest advances in marine technology, R Marine Crawley will also host a segment on engines and IPS units answering any questions you may have.
